m SOLUTiON 46a-00, <br /> <br /> BY-Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br />Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION honming the life of Richard B Parker who made significant contributions <br />to the Lakewood community <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, since 1971, Richard B Parker has been a respected fimeral director in the City <br />of Lakewood and has been a partner in the funeral home currently known as the Buseh*Saxton- <br />Parker~Daniels Family Chapels on Detroit Road; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Richard B Parker, gave ofhimself to the Lakewood community through civic <br />voltmteerism He served on the board of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of <br />Directors of the Lakewood Office on Aging. He was a member of the LakewoodYRocky River <br />Rotary Club, Clifion Club, A1 Koran Shrine, Scottish Rite, Valley of Cleveland. Lakewood Shrine <br />Club, Lakewood Elks, Mens Board at the Beck Center and Lakewood United Methodist Church <br />where he ushered from 1971 through 1995 Mr Parker had 54 years of perfect attendance in <br />Rotary <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the contribut ons to the conununity made by Richard B Parker over many <br />years have made Lakewood a better place to live <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' <br /> <br /> Section t, That this Council and Mayor, on behalf of the citizens of the City of Lakewood, <br />recognizes the significant civic contributions that Richard B Parker made to the Lakewood <br />commtmity <br /> <br /> Section 2 That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />fonvard a copy of tiffs resolution to the family of Richard B Parker and that a copy of this <br />resolution be spread Upon the minutes of this mecting. <br /> <br /> Pres~i:lent ' <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
