RESOLUTION No. 7488-00 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Seelie, Skindell, Smith, <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION requesting the Cuyahoga County Engineer to proceed with the <br />reconstruction of West 117th Street (CR-252) from 1500 feet south of Bellaire Road to Edgewater <br />Drive in the cities of Cleveland and Lakewood and the Village of Linndale and resolving to pay <br />for certain items requested by Lakewood for the Lakewood portion of the project. <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed improvement of West 117m Street is being financed by the <br />Federal Government, Cuyahoga County and the cities of Cleveland, Lakewood and Linndale; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood, Ohio is desirous of including brick pavers, deciduous <br /> trees and landscape watering in the proposed West 117m Street improvement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Cuyahoga, Ohio, by its Board of Commissioners had <br /> indicated a willingness to include said improvements in the proposed West 117m Street <br /> improvement. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1. That the Cuyahoga County Engineer is hereby requested to include brick <br /> pavers, deciduous trees and landscape watering in the plans and specifications for the West 117m <br /> Street improvemenl as aforesaid. The City of Lakewood agrees to pay the cost of any additional <br /> preliminary design engineering and the construction costs related to the inclusion of said brick <br /> pavers, deciduous trees and landscape watering in the City of Lakewood. <br /> Section 2. The City of Lakewood will maintain or arrange for the maintenance of said <br /> brick pavers, deciduous trees and landscape included in this improvement. <br /> Section 3.
