Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br /> 'Seelie, Skindell, SMith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to endorse the concept of a refurbished playground facility in <br />Lakewood Park, along the lines advecated by 'Tdds Cove", and call for this concept to be <br />immediately incorporated by the City of Lakewood and its agents in any pending refurbishment <br />of Lakewood Park. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, providing quality recreational opportunities for the youth of Lakcwood is of <br />paramount concern to this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the facilities at Lakewood Park are some of the most heavily used <br />recreational facilities in the City of Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, many of these facilities, particularly the playground equipment, are in need <br />of replacement or renovation; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is currently undertaking the development for a Master Plan for <br />Lakewood Park which would evaluate conditions, capacity limilations and opportunities at the <br />Park; aad <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, our community is enriched whenever we include our citizens in thc creation <br />-of new undertakings for the common good; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council enthusiastically endorses the concept of a refiubished <br />playground facility in Lakewcod Park, along the lines advocated by "Kids Cove," mad calls for <br />this concept to be immediately incorporated by the City of Lakewood and its agents in any <br />pending refurbishment of Lakewood Park <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this Resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deh"~)e~tions of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: (~,.,~o ~/ ~'~ <br /> <br />Approved:~ ~,~ <br /> <br /> <br />
