RESOLUTIONNO. 7506-00 BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, <br /> Roth, Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to recognize Lakewood School Guard and resident Lori Hesson for her <br />exceptional bravery and unselfish act of lifesaving. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lori Hesson is a School Guard employed by the City of Lakewood's <br />Division of Police and entrusted with the safety of children in the area of Garfield Elementary <br />School; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the course of her employment on September 16, 2000, Lori Hesson saw a <br />child run into the path of moving traffic on Detroit Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lori Hesson ran after the child without hesitation and without regard to her <br />personal safety; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Lori Hesson successfully saved the child from certain injury and threat to <br />his life; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby recognize and congratulate our own <br />Lakewood citizen, Loft Hesson; and <br /> <br /> Section 2.
