RESOLUTION NO. 7538-0! <br /> <br />Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br /> <br />A RESOLU'FJON to honor the achievements of Councilwoman Pam Smith. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Lakewood League of Women Voters has named Pam Smith <br />"Honored Woman of the Year'; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pam has been an active member of the League for over 25 years, <br />holding several offices~ including serving as president from 1981~1983, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, she has been involved in many issues including housing and the League <br />Study of Lakewood Hospital changes, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pam Smith has been supportive of the Lakewood schools and has <br />assisted with promoting school levies, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Pam has moderated debates and emceed Candidates Nights for the <br />League of Women Voters, and represente~ the League at many events; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C~TY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this City Council of Lakewood congratulates Pam Smith and wishes <br />to commend her for her leadership and dedicated service to the community through her <br />work and involvement with the League of Women Voters <br /> <br /> Section 2.
