A RESOLUTION declaring it necessary to improve Gold Coast Lane (from Lake Ave. to north end) by the complete reconstruction of the pavement cross- section including the necessary installation and replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewalks, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto and tree lawn restoration. WHEREAS, the Second Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood allows for a special assessment to be implemented in proportion to the benefit which may result from the improvement; and, WHEREAS, Gold Coast Lane is thc access road for the condominium units at both the Winton Place and the Carlyle; and, WHEREAS, the Winton Place Condominium Association consists of 350 individual units and the Carlyle Condominium Association consists of 549 individual units; and, WHER~bAS, the Carlyle Condominium's percentage of the total number of units is equal to 61% and the Winton Place portion of the percentage of total number of units is 39%; and, WHEREAS, each condominium owner shall be assessed based upon their Condominium Association's percentage of total number of units and their own percentage of ownership within the individual Condominium Association based upon the Declaration of Ownership maintained by the Condominium Association ,NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO; Section 1. That it is necessary to improve the following street in the City of Lakewood: Gold Coast Lane (from Lake Ave. to north end) Section 2 That said Gold Coast Lane (from Lake Ave. to north end) shall be improved in accordance with specifications hereinafter referred to and now on file in the office of the City Engineer including the complete reconstruction of the pavement cross-section including the necessary installation and replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewalks, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto and tree ]awn restoration Section 3. It is ile~eby determined ~nd declared that said improvement is conducive to the public health, convenience and welfare of said City and the inhabitants thereof Section 4. That the plans, specifications and estimates of the proposed improvements heretofore prepared and now on file in the office of the City Engineer are hereby approved.
