RESOLLr~ON NO. 7~50-01 <br /> <br />~y: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br /> Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend Peter Sulejamanj for his contribution to the Lakewood <br />Department of Human Services, Division of Health and the Lakewood Community. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peter has resided in the Lakewood community for 5 years, migrating <br />from his native country, Albania, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peter has provided his services as an interpreter at immunization clinics, <br />accompanying families from Nbania/guiding them through the process required for school <br />admission/the department of immigration, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peter has provided transportation for Albanian families to the Division of <br />Health without compensation, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~ Peter's assistance, Public Health nurses were able to investigate <br />certain communicable diseases and provide the prophylaxis necessary to contain the <br />spread of disease, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Peter has. translated ten vaccine information statements into Albanian <br />for use. at immunization' clinics. These federally mandated documents have been <br />submitted for use to the Ohio Department of Health and Center for Disease Control; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this City Council and Mayor of Lakewood hereby extend to Peter <br />Sulejamanj its commendation for contributing to the enhancement of public health. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
