RESOLUTION NO. 7559-01 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan, FitzGerald, George, Roth, <br /> Seelie, Skindell, Smith. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION commending Donald Vassel for his public service as a member of the <br />Citizens Advisory Committee ofLakewood (CAC) for federally-funded grant programs. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Vassel served on the CAC from February 28, 1997 through February <br />28, 2001; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure as a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee, Mr. <br />Vassel demonstrated sincere interest in the preservation and future development of our <br />community and served actively on the Committee, and such service contributed substantially to <br />the public interest; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Donald Vassel be <br />given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend to Donald Vassel their <br />appreciation for his valued and dedicated public service as a member of the Citizens Advisory <br />Committee of Lakewood, and that all citizens of this community express that appreciation by this <br />public recognition. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a personal certified copy of this resolution to Donald Vassel who served on <br />the Citizens Advisory Committee of Lakewood for federally funded grant programs, and that a <br />copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />PR~ESfDENT <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
