RESOLUTION NO: 7634-02 BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelte, Skindell. A RESOLUTION to commend Retired Fire Captain William White for his public service as a member of the City's Division of Fire. WHEREAS, upon his retirement effective February 10, 2002, William White will have completed 25 years.of public service; and, WHEREAS, during his tenure with the City William White was recognized as a loyal and dedicated employee who rendered outstanding service not only to the Division of Fire, but to the entire community as well. WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by William White be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO; Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to William White its appreciation and that of all the citizens of this community for his 25 years of public service to the City of Lakewood and further that this Council and Mayor wish him continued years of health, happiness and prosperity in his retirement. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be 'and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to William White at his residence in Florida; 19327 Sandy Springs Circle, Lutz, Florida 33549, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
