ResolUtion No: 7675-02 <br /> <br />By: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to commend and acknowledge Mary Condon Brereton <br />for her dedicated service to the City of Lakewood in her position as Executive Assistant <br />to the Mayor for Community Relations. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Condon Brereton has given generously of her time and <br />effort in managing the Office of Community Relations, and has served with dedication, <br />distinction, passion and energetic leadership; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Through the hard work done by the Office' of Community <br />Relations the City of Lakewood has enjoyed favorable recognition in the media as a <br />"Great Place to Call Home"; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mary Condon Brereton deserves our sincere appreciation <br />and thanks for her contributions to the community, and we highly commend her for the <br />manner in which she has carried out her responsibilities and duties as a member of the <br />city staff; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the service rendered by Mary <br />Condon Brereton be given public cognizance and recognition, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to Mary Condon <br />Brereton its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for her <br />dedicated service as Executive Assistant to the Mayor for Community Relations and <br />further that this Cou nci/and Mayor extend to Mary Condon Brereton our best wishes to <br />her and her family for many years of happiness in the future. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Mary Condon Brereton, and <br />that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved.'~.4~- <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br /> <br />
