RESOLUTION NO. 7700-02 BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth,Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION to recognize the retirement of John J. Booker from his <br />public service in the Division of Refuse and Recycling for the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective September 19, 2002 John J. <br />Booker completed over 17 years of public service in the Division of Refuse and <br />Recycling, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John J. Booker began work with the City of Lakewood on <br />February 6, 1985, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John J. Booker started as a Laborer, and was promoted to a <br />Cushman Operator; and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, It is fitting that all the citizens of the City of Lakewood express <br />their appreciation to John J. Booker for his service to the residents of the City of <br />Lakewood. Now therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council and Mayor, hereby extend to John J. Booker <br />its appreciation and that of all of the citizens of this community for his dedicated service <br />to the Lakewood community. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and <br />directed to forward this Resolution to John J. Booker, 11824 Madison Avenue, <br />Lakewood, OH and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
