RESOLUTION NO. 7732-03 BY: Corrigan, Dever, Dumn, FitzGerald, George, Roth, Seelie,.5~ A RESOLUTION ex>mending Donald O. Sharp Jr. for public service as a member of the Lakewood Planning Commission from January 1, 1997 through December 31, 2002. WHEREAS, Donald Sharp was appointed by the City Council of the City of Lakewood as a member of the Lakewood Plauning Con-anission, for a six year term, serving as Vice-Chairma~ for two years and Chairman for two years, and WHEREAS, during his tenure on the Plarming Commission, Mr. Slurp oversaw several revisions to thc Zoning Code incluflhag the Sexually Oriented Business Chapter, as well as participating in the Berea Rd./West 1174 Street Study, the Main Street Study, the Master Plan for Lakewood Park and the location of an Off-Leash Dog Park in Lakewood, and WHEREAS, Mr. Sharp has been recognized by his peers as a conscientious, effective and respected Commission member who gave h~oerally of his time, talents and energies to the preservation and future development of Lakewood, and WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Donald Sharp Jr. be given public cognizance and recognition, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council and Mayor extend to Donald Sharp their appreciation for the valued and dedicated public service as a member of the Lakewood Planning Commission, and that of all citizens of this community in an expression of appreciation by this public recognition Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Donald G. Sharp Jr., 2135 Atldns Ave., Lakewood, Ohio 44107, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. President
