PLACED ON 1ST READING & REFERP~ED TO TEE <br />POBLIC~ WORKS CO~4ITTEE 4/19/04. <br /> <br />PLACED ON 2ND READING 5/3/04. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO, 7888=04 <br /> <br />FitzGerald, ~digan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION requesting the Cuyahoga County Engineer to proceed with the <br />repair and resurfacing of Berea Road (CR-309) from Triskett Road to Detroit Avenue in <br />thei Cities of Cleveland and Lakewood and resolving to pay for certain items. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed improvement of Berea Road is being financed by the <br />Cuyahoga County and the Cities of Cleveland and Lakewood; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood, Ohio would like to include a watermain <br />replacement in the proposed improvement of Berea Road; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of Cuyahoga County have indicated a <br />willingness to include said watermain replacement in the proposed improvement. Now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE TI' RESOLVED BY THE QTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the CUyahoga County Engineer is hereby request~od to include <br />the~ replacement of the watermain on Berea Road in the plans and specifications for the <br />improvement of Berea Road as stated in the preamble of this Resolution. The City of <br />Lakewood agrees to pay the entire cost of engineering and construction related Lo the <br />inclusion of said water main in the proposed improvement in the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City of Lakewood will maintain or arrange for the maintenance <br />of said watermain. <br /> <br /> Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relaUeg to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> President <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br /> <br />
