RESOLUTION NO. 7909-04 BY: Corriganm" Demro, Dever~ Dunn, FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. A RESOLUTION commending Officer Gary Easter for his selection as the Ohio School Resource Officer of the Year for 2004. WHEREAS, Officer Gary Easter has served the Lakewood community since 1990 as a D.A.R.E. officer and School Resource Officer; and, WHEREAS. Officer Gary Easter has worked tirelessly throughout his career to gUide and encourage the children of Lakewood; and, WHEREAS, It is fitting and proper that the honor awarded to Officer Gary Easter be given public recognition, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE cm OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section L That this Council and Mayor Wish to extend to Officer Gary Easter their congratulations and appreciation for the work he has done as a School Resource Officer for the City of Lakewood, which resulted in his selection as Ohio School Resource Officer of the Year, and that all citizens of this community also join in an expression of appreciation by this public recognition. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to Officer Gary Easter and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and reiating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with àlllegal requirements.
