<br />RESOLUTION NO <br /> <br />7967-05 <br /> <br />BY· Corrigan, Demro, Dever, Dunn, <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION honoring Dougias J. Hennie on the occasion of his <br />retirement from the Division of Fire aftèr twenty-eight years of dedicated service to the <br />community of Lakewood. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas J Hennie was appointed as a Firefighler with the <br />Lakewood Division of Fire on January 30, 1977; and. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas J Hennie was promoted to the rank of Captain on January <br />27, 1992; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas J. Hennie received several commendations throughóut his <br />career and volunteered his own time to visit Lakewood schools and present the Fire <br />Safety House provided by the Aluminum Cans for Burned Children Foundation; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Douglas J. Hennie is retiring from Engine Company #1, Shift "B" <br />after twenty-eight years of service <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CiTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' <br /> <br />Section 1. That this Council and Mayor wish to lhank Douglas J Hennie <br />for his twenty-eight years of dedicated service and to wish him many happy years of <br />retirement <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Cierk of Councii is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a copy this Resoiution to Mr. Douglas J. Hennie, 12500 Edgewater Drive <br />#1105, Lakewood, OH 44107 and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the <br />minutes of this meeting <br /> <br />Section 3.
