RESOLUTION NO: 80/45~05 BY' Corrigan, Demro, Dever, FitzGerald, Seelie. A RESOLUTION to congratulate Tony Beno on being awarded the Ohio FraternalCongress' 2005 Fraternahst' of the Year award WHEREAS, The Ohio Fraternal Congress is home to 1,856 local fraternal benefit society chapters representing more than 438,145 members; and, WHEREAS, Each year the Ohio Fraternal Congress recognizes an individual who has served his fraternal organization in a leadership volunteer role, The position of President of the Ohio Fraternal Congress and th~ years served on the board, usually a volunteer commitment of more than 10 years, precede this award, and; WHEREAS, Tony Beno is a past president of the Ohio Fraternal Congress and has remained active in the Ohio Fraternal Congress while also taking on a volunteer leadership role with the National SIovak Society and being actively involved on their behalf in church and community investment; now therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' Section 1 That this Council and Mayor extend to Tony Beno their congratulations on being awarded the Ohio Fraternal Congress, 2005 Ohio Fraternalist of the Year Section 2 That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to Tony Beno, 14939 Lakewood Heights Blvd, Lakewood, OH 44107 and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of this meeting Section 3 It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements Adopted._¢C?~f.~,~.C, 9~t, %0g ~ Approved.
