<br />RESOLUTION NO, <br /> <br />8103;06 <br /> <br />BY: Antonio. Butler, Demro, <br />Dever, FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to commend Captain James G Petz for his public service as a <br />member of the Division of Fire in the City of Lakéwood <br /> <br />WHEREAS, James G, Petz he has served as Captain since 1986, and was <br />most recently assigned to Engine Company #2, Shift A, at Lakewood Fire Station #2; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Captain James G Petz received a commendation in recognition for <br />both individual and team effort in coordinating firefighting efforts on November 5, 1992, <br />helping prevent serious injuries and minimizing property loss; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during his tenure, he regularly earned outstanding performance <br />evaluations; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon his retirement, effective May 14, 2006, Captain James G Petz has <br />completed more than 37 years of service to the Lakewood community; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the public service rendered by Captain James G <br />Petz be given public cognizance and recognition, Now therefore' <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO' <br /> <br />Sectioh 1 That this Council and Mayor wish James G Petz and his family a healthy <br />and happy retirement <br /> <br />Section 2 That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to <br />forward a copy this Resolution to, James G, Petz, 18310 Squirrel Run Drive, Middleburg <br />Heights, OH 44130, and that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of <br />this meeting , <br /> <br />Section 3 It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this resolution wére adopteci in an open meeting of this <br />Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and òf any of its committeés that <br />resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all <br />legal requirements <br /> <br />Adopted" 'Jvx l <br /> <br />IF; ).011 <br /> <br />~.~ <br /> <br />PR SIDENT <br /> <br />Approved" ~óÚ~' n/ :J.()O~ <br /> <br />~7 #a¿t" ' <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />Jlry' ~ <br />MAYOR ' <br />
