<br />RESOLUTION NO. 8235-08 <br /> <br />BY: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Dever, <br />Powers, Summers. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION to appoint Brian E. Powers as a <br />member of the Governing Board of Lakewood Hospital for the full two-year term <br />ending December 31, 2009. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a timely appointment to the Lakewood Hospital <br />Governing Board will provide immediate representation on the Board and <br />contribute to the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, <br />safety and welfare in the City for the usual daily operations of the Cìty; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Council hereby appoints Brian E. Powers. as a <br />member of the Governing Board of Lakewood Hospital for the full two-year term <br />ending December 31, 2009. <br /> <br />Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor for reasons <br />previously set forth and defined, provided it receives the affirmative vote of at <br />least five (5) of its members elected to Council, otherwise, it shall take effect and <br />be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Section 3.
