RESOLUTION NO. 8346-09 By: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Dever, <br />Madigan, Powers. <br />A RESOLUTION commending Gary Rice for public service as a member of the <br />Lakewood Citizens Advisory Committee for federally funded grant programs. <br />WHEREAS, Gary Rice served as a member of the Lakewood Citizens Advisory <br />Committee for federally funded grant programs. for Fiscal Years 2007, 2008, and <br />2009; and <br />WHEREAS, during the tenure as a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee <br />Gary Rice, demonstrated sincere interest in the preservation and future <br />development of our community and served actively on the Committee, and such <br />service contributed substantially to the public interest; and <br />WHEREAS, it is fitting. and proper that the public service rendered by Gary Rice <br />be given public cognizance and recognition; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council and the Mayor extend to Gary Rice their appreciation <br />and that of all citizens of this community for the valued and dedicated public <br />service as a member of the Lakewood Citizens Advisory Committee, and wishes <br />to express that appreciation by this public recognition. <br />Section 2.
