RESOLUTION NO. $>91-10 BY: Antonio, Bullock, Butler, Madigan, <br />Powers, Smith, Summers <br />A RESOLUTION to take. effect immediately provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of at least five (5) members elected to Council, otherwise, it shall take <br />effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, to appoint <br />Brian Powers as a member of the Governing Board of Lakewood <br />Hospital for the full two-year term ending December 31, 2011. <br />WHEREAS, a timely appointment to the Lakewood Hospital Governing <br />Board will provide immediate representation on the Boazd and contribute to the <br />immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare in the <br />City for the usual daily operations of the City; now; therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br />Section 1. That Council hereby appoints Brian Powers as a <br />member of the Governing Board of Lakewood Hospital for the full two-year term ending <br />December 31, 2011. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor for reasons previously set forth <br />and defined, provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least. five (5) of its members <br />elected to Council, otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this <br />Council .concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open. <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of the Council and any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Adopted: ,ew. l `~ 10 ! 0 <br />Approved:. 1 ~~. 6l / O <br />PRESIDENT <br />
