REFERRED TO THE COMMITTEE OF THE SdHOLE <br />1/17/12. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8549-12 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote <br />of at least five (5) members of Council otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law, to appoint Mary Cierebiej as a member of the <br />Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council for the three (3) year term beginning January I, <br />2012 and ending December 31, 2014. <br />WHEREAS, this Cormcil by a vote of at least five (5) of its members determines that <br />this resolution is an emergency measure, and that this resolution shall take effect at the earliest <br />date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECITONS 1 O acid 13 of the SECOND AMENDED <br />CHARTER OF THC CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate reservation <br />of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments in order to fulfill the requirements of Section 3735.69 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code in a timely manner and to provide timely membership on the Community <br />Reinvestment Area Housing Council; Now, therefore, <br />BG IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to Resolution 5304, adopted May 1, 1978, and Section <br />3735.69 of the Ohio Revised Code,. Council hereby appoints nary Cierebiej as a <br />member of the Community Reinvestment area Housing Council for the three (3) year term <br />begirming January 1, 2012 and ending December 31, 2014. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council shall forward a certified copy of this Resolution to <br />the Secretary of the Community Reinveshnent Area Housing Council. <br />Section 3. It is found and determined that aII formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this <br />Council and of any of its committees, that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings <br />open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />Section 4. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the <br />immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare in the City and for <br />the usual daily operation of the City for the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to this <br />resolution, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of Council, this <br />resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council and <br />approval by the Mayor otherwise, it shall take effect and be in farce after the earliest period allowed <br />bylaw. <br />Adopted: ;~~, 6 E yU l ~- <br />Approved:~~ ~~ ~ <br />j <br />PRESIDENT <br />~s r <br />CLERK <br />MAYOR <br />
