RESOLUTION NO. $551-12 By. Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Nowlin, Powers, Smith. <br />A RESOLUTION to welcome you as a new resident of the City of Lakewood. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lakewood is happy that you have <br />chosen to live here and is pleased to serve as your representatives in local <br />government, and <br />WHEREAS, on July 21, 1986, it came before the Council of the City of <br />Lakewood that giving new residents information regarding some basic laws and <br />policies concerning their new community may convey to them that the City is <br />interested in assisting them; making them feel "at home" more quickly, and <br />WHEREAS, the various city codes help to assure the community pride, by <br />which the. history of the city is distinguished, and <br />WHEREAS, the comfortable living here may continue through knowledge <br />of basic laws and policies such as parking and refuse regulations, recycling <br />guidelines, pet information and community developtnent programs, and <br />WIIEREAS, this Council, and all of the citizens of the City of Lakewood, <br />wishes to warmly welcome you as a new resident of this community;' now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council, for itself and on behalf of all of the citizens <br />of this community, warmly welcomes you as a new resident of the City of <br />Lakewood and wishes for you much happiness, gratification and success in your new <br />surroundings. <br />Section 2.
