RESOLUTION NO. 8595-12 $y; Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, Nowlin, Powers, Smith. A RESOLUTION to thank Suzanne Metelko for participating as the 2012 Grand Marshal in the City of Lakewood 4°i of July Parade. WHEREAS, Suzamre Metelko, a long time resident of Lakewood, is an active member of our community and gives of her time and resources to many worthy groups and organizations within the commm~ity. WHEREAS, Mayor Michael Summers and the 2012 City of Lakewood Parade Committee chose Suzanne Metelko to be the Grand Marshal; and, WHEREAS, Suzanne Metelko is to be recognized for her support and involvement in the connnunity of Lakewood. Now therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: Section 1. That this council and Mayor hereby extend to Suzanne Metelko their appreciation as well as the appreciation of all the citizens of this connnunity for her exceptional community spirit and dedication to the Lakewood community. Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward this resolution to Suzanne Metelko and that a copy of the resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
