RESOLUTION NO. 8610-12 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, Nowlin, Powers, Smith. A RESOLUTION authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into an agreement with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to accept a Storm Water Improvement Fund grant in the amount of $150,000 for use in parking lot improvements within the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood has been awarded a grant in the amount of $150,000 from the Ohio EPA for parking lot improvements; and WHEREAS, funds will be used to design and improve municipal parking lots nos. 1 an 4 which serve the Downtown area of Lakewood with a total project cost estimated at $417,000 ; and WHEREAS, the design will include environmentally friendly improvements including permeable pavers and trees. Now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Ohio Environmental Protection Agency to accept a Storm Water Improvement Fuud grant in the amount of $150,000 for use in parking lot improvements within the City of Lakewood. Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this Ordinance were passed in an open meeting of this Council and that all deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such actions were in meetings open to the public and in compliance with legal requirements.
