RESOLUTION NO. 8760 -14 BY: Anderson, Bullock, Juris, Madigan, <br />Marx, Nowlin, O'Leary. <br />A RESOLUTION to commend David Stein and Cotton on receiving the award from Heritage Ohio <br />for Best Commercial Rehabilitation Project of 2014. <br />WHEREAS, David Stein demonstrated a commitment to Lakewood's historic preservation <br />through his renovation of what was originally the Bailey Buick Building and later the office of U.S. <br />Representative Dennis Kucinich in downtown Lakewood. <br />WHEREAS, David Stein continues to contribute to the City of Lakewood with ownership of <br />Plantation Home and Cotton and his vision for the value of historic rehabilitation that indeed lends to <br />the beauty of Lakewood's downtown commercial corridor. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br />Section 1. On behalf of the residents of Lakewood, the Lakewood City Council and Mayor extend <br />to David Stein its commendation and the commendation of all the citizens of the community for his <br />recognition by Heritage Ohio for his commercial rehabilitation of Cotton. <br />Section 2.
