Anderson, Bullock, George, Litten, <br />O'Leary, O'Malley, Rader <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9064 -19 BY: <br />A RESOLUTION to recognize Lakewood High School senior Tyler Hannah for his talent <br />and dedication to the sport of track and field, which have helped him earn the Division I Indoor <br />state title in the 60 meter hurdles and place 13th in national competition. <br />WHEREAS, Tyler accomplished his state title victory with a time of 7.96 seconds as the <br />second seed in the race, beating the runner -up by a margin of .09 seconds; <br />WHEREAS, the hard work and passion that Tyler brings to the sport of track and field <br />earned him the opportunity to compete in the New Balance National Meet in New York City on <br />March 9th of this year, where he placed 13`h in the country, proudly representing the Lakewood <br />community and the state of Ohio; <br />WHEREAS, Tyler has earned a full scholarship to Ashland University to further his <br />academic and athletic careers. Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That this Council does hereby recognize Tyler Hannah for the talent, skill, <br />passion, and dedication that he brings to the sport of track and field which have earned him an <br />indoor 60 meter hurdles state title and a placement of 13`h in nationals. <br />Section 2. That this Council does hereby recognize the family, coaches, teammates and <br />school community who have encouraged and supported Tyler both on and off the track. <br />Section 3. That this Council does hereby express pride in having Tyler Hannah represent <br />our City on the state and national levels of competition. We wish him rewarding, challenging, <br />and fun experiences as he moves forward to compete and study on the collegiate level. <br />Section 4. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning <br />and relating to the passage of this resolution were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, <br />and that all such deliberations of this Council and any of its committees that resulted in such <br />formal action, were in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all legal requirements. <br />
