Placed on 1st reading and referred to Finance 11/18/19; 2nd reading 12/2/19 Anderson, Bullock, George, Litten, O'Leary, ORDINANCE NO.45-19 BY: O'Malley, Rader AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it received the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section 129.54, Operational Cash Funds, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to comply with previous changes to the chapter. WHEREAS, as set forth in Section 2.12 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, this Council by a vote of at least two thirds of its members determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure and that it shall take effect immediately, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health, and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal department, in that these funds should be amended to reflect current practices; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: Section 1. That Section 129.54, Operational Cash Funds, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, currently ready as follows: 129.54 OPERATIONAL CASH FUNDS. (a) There is hereby established Operational Cash Funds for the use of various departments throughout the City, as follows: (b) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to take such action and to make such records as may be necessary to establish these funds and thereafter to show its existence and condition at all time upon the proper records of the City. is hereby repealed and new Section 129.54, Operational Cash Funds, is hereby enacted to read as follows: MAP'llEll 91117:111[Il`►/:I1[N:69Isgin 91113 (a) There is hereby established Operational Cash Funds for the use of various departments throughout the City, as follows:
