Placed on 1st reading and <br />referred to Finance 11/18/19; <br />2nd reading 12/2/19 <br />Anderson, Bullock, George, Litten, O'Leary, <br />ORDINANCE NO.45-19 BY: O'Malley, Rader <br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it received the affirmative vote of at least <br />two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force after the earliest period <br />allowed by law, amending Section 129.54, Operational Cash Funds, of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of Lakewood to comply with previous changes to the chapter. <br />WHEREAS, as set forth in Section 2.12 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of <br />Lakewood, this Council by a vote of at least two thirds of its members determines that this <br />ordinance is an emergency measure and that it shall take effect immediately, and that it is necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of the public property, health, and safety and to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of municipal department, in that these funds should be amended to reflect <br />current practices; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. That Section 129.54, Operational Cash Funds, of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of Lakewood, currently ready as follows: <br />129.54 OPERATIONAL CASH FUNDS. <br />(a) There is hereby established Operational Cash Funds for the use of various departments throughout <br />the City, as follows: <br />(b) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to take such action and to make <br />such records as may be necessary to establish these funds and thereafter to show its existence and <br />condition at all time upon the proper records of the City. <br />is hereby repealed and new Section 129.54, Operational Cash Funds, is hereby enacted to read as follows: <br />MAP'llEll 91117:111[Il`►/:I1[N:69Isgin 91113 <br />(a) There is hereby established Operational Cash Funds for the use of various departments throughout <br />the City, as follows: <br />
