ORDINANCE NO. 34-19A PV . <br />ullock, Kepple, Litten, Neff, <br />'.(-')'Ma11e*y, Rader, Shachner <br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest period allowed by law, amending Ordinance 34-19 adopted December 16, 2019, <br />authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the Director of <br />Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager to enter into service contracts in <br />accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood for the Department of <br />Planning & Development in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, <br />contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown without separate resolution of Council. <br />WHEREAS, as set forth in Section 2.12 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of <br />Lakewood, this Council by a vote of at least two thirds of its members determines that this <br />ordinance is an emergency measure and that it shall take effect immediately, and that it is <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health, and safety and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that delay could impair the City's <br />ability to provide necessary services in a timely manner for fiscal year 2020; now, therefore <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO <br />Section 1. Section I of Ordinance 34-19, adopted December 16, 2019, currently reading <br />as follows: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the <br />Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into contracts in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of <br />Lakewood,, for the Division of Planning & Development, contracts not to exceed the specified <br />amounts shown,, except as hereinafter provided: <br />Service Contracts $494009000 <br />Building Code Enforcement; <br />Childcare Scholarship Assistance Program; <br />Cleveland Mediation Center: Landlord Tenant Services; <br />Commercial Property Revitalization (Storefront Renovation) Program; <br />Cuyahoga County Planning Commission; <br />Domestic Violence & Child Advocacy Center: Victim Advocacy Services; <br />Economic Development Loan Fund; <br />First Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Program (CDBG & HOME); <br />Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority; <br />Home Improvement Grant Program (HIG); <br />
