MINUTES <br /> OF THE <br /> REGULAR MEETING <br /> OF <br /> LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br /> December 20, 2021 <br /> 7:30 P.M. <br /> Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:46 PM by Vice President <br /> Litten. <br /> Present: Thomas R. Bullock III, Sarah Kepple, John Litten, Tess Neff, Tristan Rader, Jason <br /> Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief <br /> Dunphy, Public Works Director Ducu, Human Services Director Gelsomino, Chief of Staff <br /> John Storey, Deputy Clerk Lascu, Clerk Bach <br /> Motion by Vice President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to excuse the absence of <br /> Council President O'Malley. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> Motion by Vice President Litten, seconded by Councilmember Rader to approve the minutes <br /> of the December 6, 2021 meeting without the necessity of a reading. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> Without objection, Vice President Litten moved agenda item 424 to the top of the agenda. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> 1. Committee report regarding Finance Committee meetings held December 13'h and <br /> December 20th, 2021. (to be provided) <br /> Finance Chair Bullock delivered the following oral report: <br /> The Finance Department met on December 13'h and we continued our <br /> departmental review of the proposed 2022 budget. We concluded the <br /> departmental review tonight with City Council, Mayor's Office, IT and <br /> Human Services. We had robust discussion regarding those departments. <br /> At the end oftonight's discussion, we recommended to full Council adoption <br /> of all budget legislation. For two of them we recommended substitutes <br /> Ordinances 38-2021 and 40-2021. <br /> 1 <br />
