O'Malley, <br /> Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Police Chief Kaucheck, Fire Chief <br /> Dunphy, Public Works Director Ducu, Human Resources Director Claudia Dillinger, Planning <br /> Director Shawn Leininger, Law Director Corrigan, Human Services Director Gelsomino, Chief <br /> of Staff John Storey, Deputy Clerk Lascu, Clerk Bach <br /> Motion by President O'Malley, seconded by Vice President Litten to approve the minutes of the <br /> February 7, 2022 meeting without the necessity of a reading. All members voted in favor. <br /> Motion passed. Minutes approved. <br /> ****OLD BUSINESS**** <br /> Without objection, item 415 was moved to the top of the agenda. <br /> 1. Finance Committee report regarding meeting held February 28, 2022. (pg. 1) <br /> Motion by Councilmember Shachner, seconded by President O'Malley to receive and file the <br /> report. All in favor. Motion passed. The report was received and filed. <br /> 2. ORDINANCE 07-2022 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the <br /> affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council declaring improvement to real <br /> property within the city of Lakewood, Ohio to be a public purpose; exempting such improvement <br /> from real property taxation; requiring the owners of the property to make service payments in <br /> lieu of real property taxes; establishing an urban redevelopment tax increment equivalent fund <br /> for the deposit of service payments, making related authorizations pursuant to Ohio Revised <br /> Code Sections 5709.41, 5709.42, 5709.43 and 5709.83; and authorizing a service payment <br /> agreement in connection with the same.
