WHEREAS, various ordinances of a general and permanent nature have bee Council but not yet included in the Codified Ordinances of the City; and n adopted by WHEREAS, given the above, now is an appropriate time to contract with the City's codifier, American Legal Publishing, to produce a revised and updated version of the Codified Ordinances of the City; and WHEREAS, as set forth in Section 2.12 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, this Council by a vote of at least two thirds of its members determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure and that it shall take effect immediately, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health, and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, in that the publication and distribution of this latest update to the Lakewood Codified Ordinances is an essential resource and reference for government operations; now, therefore BE IT ORDAINED BY CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: Sectionediting, arrangement and numbering and renumbering of the following ordinances and resolutions and parts of ordinances and resolutions are hereby approved as parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances of the City, so as to conform to the classification and numbering system of the Codified Ordinances: 07-2023 11/20/2023 1103.02, 1121.03, 1121.09, Zoning Code updates to facilitate ADUs 1123.03, 1123.04, 1123.09, 1133.06, 1161903 18-2023 12/04/2023 I I L01, 1119029 111.039 Establish new purchasing limits 111.04 35-2023 12/18/2023 902.04, 915.01 Establish water and sewer rates 2024-2028 36-2023 12/18/2023 128.094, 128.2201(b)(10), 128.03(p), 128.03(bb), 128.03(hh), 123.030)(19), 128.0449 128.0839 128.109 38-2023 111/20/2023 1149014 pdate Tax Code to match HB 33 Jpdate medical coverage provision in fight of legalization of same sex marriage Section 2.
