RESOLJIION N0. F-I ; By o provide for the Establishment of the : Planni.ng Commission. ? ti^JHr??_?'+5, there is need for the preparation of a. coinprehensive thorofare plan in this village, - :. Now therefore, BE TT RESOLV'ED by the Council of the Village of Nayfield, State of ?.libq, three-fourtlzs •.of all members elected thereto concurring; SECTION 1. 'Fhat this municipality hereby deterr,lines to establish a Planning Commission.co:nsist3ng of five membe?rs, to be comprised of the Mayor, one member of the council to be seleeted by the Council ior the. re- mainder of his tenn as a member of the Council, and three citizens of the Village to be appointed by the Mayor for tertns of six years °ea,ch, except that the term of one of the.members of the first comrnission shall be for four yeers and.one for two years,.all such members to serve wi-thout compen- sation: ` SECTION 2, Tn addit'ion to the duties and powers conferrecl upon said commission by law, it sha11 have power to control the height, design and location of build.ings. ? , SECTION 3o ZThe members of said commission shall meet as soon as -y convenient after their appointment.and proceed to organize by electing a President, a Vice-p-resident, a Secretary and such other officers as it may deem necessaxy to provide for the proper transaction of its businesss Said Commission sh.a,11 adopt such by-la,ws for its organization and the coriduct of its business as it may deem necessary and proper. The commission,before finally approeing and adopting any plan or plans of ar1;l thorofare, sha11 'L3rst submit tentative plans thereof to the Council, rzncl before final tidoption thereof shall obtain the recommenda,tion and a;pprovwl of the Council with respect thereto. SECTION 5. Before.a,ny plan of a subdivision of lwnd, proposed for a.llotrnent in this. village shall be approved fot record by the Council it sliull first be submitted to the Plannin,g Commission for its recoi7unendation thereoPa Such plat shall be promptly considered by the Commission and ita receomrnendation given the Council as soon as possible. SECTION G. Tn the performance of its fur_ction said Corrunission may entex inluo an agreement with ar?y other municipaZity for the making of surveys or plans or for the performance of any s,ervice or benefit thexeto,provided, however,,that such agreement shall specifg and provide for the cost thereof to thi.s village. SECTION 7.
