<br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of MaJrfield9 Cuyahoga County, Ohio,
<br />duly passed.a Resolution on the 17th day of June, 1957, providing for the submission
<br />to the eLctors of the Vi7l.age of NTayfield, Oii.i.o, at the November 5th, 1957 General,
<br />Election the question of the i.ssuance of bonds in the suin of Six Hundred Fifty
<br />Thousand Dollars ($650.,000.00) for tii.e purPose of paying the property owners
<br />assessment portion,s' and' if required, to pay the Village portions of the cost
<br />of isnproving tns streets in the Vi1la.ge of Hayfield by paving, graclin.g, curbing,
<br />drazning' ditcYll.Ilg, and the construction of storm seVaers, sanitary sat,rers, water
<br />mains, and appuxtenances therein, and of the levying of a tax to provide for the
<br />payment thereof; and
<br />WBEPEAS, the County Auditor of Cuyanoga County has certified to this
<br />Council that3 3.n accordance with hhi..s calculation, tlae average annual levy
<br />throughout the li£e of such bonds ( 20 years ) s-Thich w1.11 be required to pay
<br />the interest on and retire such bonds' assum-i.ng that they are all issued in
<br />one seri.es9 and that the amount. of the tax 3-ist of said vilJ.age rerra.zn.s tho
<br />same t'nrou.g'nout the 3ife of said bonds as the aniouht of tYie tax li.st for the
<br />current yeax, is 1.1221 mi]e].s f or each doL2x of va,luation, whi.ch amounts to
<br />11.221 cents for each one_ hundred dol7ars of valua.tion.
<br />? PlOU THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY TIiE COUNCIL OF THE, VITLAGE CF MA]YIELD,
<br />CUYAHOGA COUN'i?.'., STATE OF OHIO THAT:.
<br />This Council proceed with the issuance of sa3.d bonds and that 'uhe C1erk
<br />be, and he, hexebjr' is, directed to certify to the Board of E1ec-L-ions in Cuyahoga
<br />County the resolution of this Council cal7,ing such election hereinabove referrad
<br />to, together -dith the amount of the average tax levy estimated by said County
<br />Aucli.tor and the ma.xi.murn number of years to r eta.xe said bonds, namely 20 years'
<br />and to gi.ve notice of said election in accordance with Section 133011 of the
<br />Revised Code of Ohio.
