RESOZUTTON No. 465 <br />By Mr, Wedler <br />A RESOlUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDI'POR TO <br />ADVANCE THE SW OF $8,000e00 TO THE VIL-LAGE OF <br />YiAYFIEI.,D OUT OF G'URRENT TAX COLZECTIONS, <br />'v,IHEREAS, the balance in the General Fund of the Village of riayf ield <br />has declined to the point where it will be i.mpossible to meet the Village <br />payroll and to pay its bills f or the month of MarclZ, 1960; and <br />T?HEREAS, suff icient funds have been collected by the Eounty of <br />Cuyahoga from the taxpayers of the Village of Nlay€ield to cover much <br />more than is required to meet the lIarch payroll and pay the iMarch <br />expenses; and <br />Z,7HMAS, the Clerlc of the Village of iNSayfield estimates that tLie <br />sum of.at least $8,000.00 is needed from current tax collections to pay <br />carrent expenses. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RuSOI,VED BY THE COUNCIZ OF THE VILI,AGE, OF MAYFIELD, <br />CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, THAT: <br />Sec, 1. The County Auditor of Cuyahoga County is hereby requested <br />to advance to the Village of iYiayfield out of current tax collections the <br />sum of at least $8,000,00 to be used for general fund purposes. <br />Sec. 2. The Clerk is hereby authorized to f ile a certif ied copy <br />of this Resolntion with the County Auditor ot Cuyahoga County. <br />Sec, 3. This Resolution is hereby deemed to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the Village of tIay£ield and its inhabitants in <br />order that the Village may pay its obligations and keep its credit good, <br />and this Reso7.ution shall be in force and eff ect immediately upon the <br />date of its adoptione <br />Adopted this 15th day of February, 1960. <br />Attest <br />? ?-!?I?layor - President of Council <br />? ???' <br />( ) lerk <br />l/
