EIVLtiYEARS FOR PAYIIENT OF, <br />CURRENT E1ENSES FOR THE TAk DUPZICATE YEARS <br />1960 T0 1964, BOTH INCZUSIVE. <br />d <br />? <br />po <br />? <br />Or <br />? <br />pCl <br />? <br />? <br />Q <br />C? <br />Z <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />P <br />F?1 <br />i? <br />WHEREAS, Section 5705.191 of the Ohio Revised Code affords relief <br />by enabling taxing districts to submit a proposal f or an additional levy of <br />taxes for current expenses to the electors at the succeeding November general <br />election. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESO'LVED BY THE COUNCIL Or^ THE VIZLAGE OF <br />MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, TWO THIRDS,OF AZl THE NIaiBERS EI,ECTED THERETO <br />CONCUP,RING THEREIN, THAT: <br />Sec. 1. The amount of taxes which may be raised by the levy of <br />zaxes within the ten (10) mill limitation authorized by Section 5705.02 of <br />the Ohio Revised Code will be'insufricient to provide an adequate amount for <br />the necessary requirements of said Village of Mayf ield for payment of current <br />expenses'and it is necessary for the purpose of provid'ing additional funds <br />f or current expense that taxes be levied on the taxable property in said <br />-village f or a period of fiveyears at a rate in excess of such maximum rate <br />authorized by said Section 5705.02 of the Ohio.Revised Code. <br />Sec. 2. The question of the renewal of a levy of two and seven tenths <br />(2, 7) mills on each dollar of the tax valuation of the taxable property on <br />the tax duplicate within the Village of Mayf ield, which amounts to 27? on <br />each $100.00 0£ valuation of said property, for a period of f ive years, <br />beginning with the tax duplicate year 1960, f or current expenses for the <br />Village of biayf ield under the provisions o= Section 5705e191 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code, be submitted to the electors of the Village of Mayfield at <br />the general election Lo be held on the 8th day of November, 1960, as <br />authorized by law, and said election shall be held at the regular places <br />of voting in said district as established by the Board of Elections of <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, between the hours of 6:30 o'clock A. M. and 6:30 <br />otclock P. Mo, Eastern Standard Time, and that said election shall be <br />conducted, canvassed and certif ied in the manner provided by law. <br />Sec. 3, The Village Clerk be and he hereby is directed to give <br />notice of said election as provided by law.
