L E G A L N 0 T I C E <br />Alternative sealed bids will be received by the Clerk of the Village <br />of Mayf ield, Ohio, at the Village Hall, 6621 Wilson Mills Road, Mayf ield, Ohio, <br />until 12 o'clock noon, Eastern Daylight Savings Time, October 15, 1960, f or <br />the sale to the Village o£ a new 1961 4-Door Sedan Automobile, suitable f or <br />use for police purposes, according to the specif ications now on f ile at the <br />office of the Village Clerk and available for inspection, <br />Bid No. 1 shall be plainly marked "Bid No. 1 f or sale of Police Car" <br />and shall state the price of the above described property. Bid No. 2 shall <br />be plainly marked "Bid No. 2 for sale of Police Car" and shall state, not <br />only the total price for the above described property, but shall also include <br />a bid to purchase from the Village of Mayf ield the 1959 Ford Station Wagon <br />now used by the Police Department, and, if Bid Noo 2 is accepted, the amount <br />bid for the purchase of said used automobile shall be credited against the <br />price of the automobile to be purchased by the Village from the bidder, and <br />a single contract will be entered into with the lowest and best bidder, to <br />be determined by subtracting f rom the selling price of the vehicle to be <br />purchased by the Village the amount o£fered for the automobile being sold <br />by the Village. Each bid shall contain the full name of every company <br />or person interested in same and be accompanied by a certif ied check or <br />cash in the amount of 57D of the amount bid, as a guaratmy that, if the bid <br />is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly <br />secured. Should any bid be rejected, such check or cash will be forthwith <br />returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such checic or cash <br />will be returned upon the proper execution and securing of the contract. <br />The right is reserved to reject any and all bids. <br />BY ORD£R OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VI-LLAGE OF MAYFIELD, OHIOe <br />r <br />Richard F.
