? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />0 <br />cc, <br />RESOI,UTTON Nom 512 <br />By Mr. Belzer <br />A RESOZUTION TO ACCEFT THE PROPOSAL OF THx.:REGIONAL <br />PLANNING CQNIiYiISSION, DATED AUGUST 29, 1961, TO PREPARE <br />INTERINI PLANS.AND ZONING REGUi,ATIONS AT A COST OF <br />AEFROXTMATEZY $250.00. <br />L-) <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />LL] <br />iJPi <br />?L <br />? <br />? <br />? <br />?E <br />trD <br />L1"_ <br />0 <br />0 <br />Cfs <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with resolutions adopted by this Council and <br />by the Zoning and Planning Commission of tne Village of Mayf ie1d, application <br />has been made requesting urban planning assistance under Section 701 of the <br />Federal Housing Act of 1954, as amended; and <br />WHER'?L'AS, the Regiunal Planning Commission of Cuyahoga County has, <br />under date of August 29, 1961, suggested that a provisional plan of the <br />area most affected by the Wilson NYills Interchange be developed and that <br />very restricted zoning regulations be Prepared and adopted to serve during <br />the interim period until a comprehensive plan of zoning f or the Village can <br />be developed, in accordance with said Section 701 application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Regional Planning Commission, under its proposal of <br />August 29, 1961, has offered for a cost of approximately $250.00 to <br />prepare interim plans and zoning regu:lations for the area.most af£ected <br />by the Wilson Mi11s Interchange. <br />NOGJ THEREFORE BE IT RESOI,VED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VIZLAGE OF <br />MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO THATs . <br />Sec. 1. The proposal of the Regional Planning Commission to prepare <br />plans and zoning regulations for the area most af£ected by the Wilson M ills <br />Interchange ( being North of Wilson Niills Road and West of SOM Center Road), <br />for the sum of approximately $250.00, such interim plan to be used until <br />a more comprthensive plan can.be developed, be acceptad, and that the sum of <br />$250000 be appropriated from the General Fund for this purpose. <br />Sec. 2. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, peace, safety <br />and welfare of the Village of Mayfield and its inhabitants, because of <br />imminent demands now being made £or the use oE property in the above described <br />area tahich might be harmf ul to the best interests of the Village, and this <br />Resolution sha11 be in force and effect from and af ter the date of its adoption. <br />Adopted this 18th day of September, 1961. <br />At te s t: <br />, .
