Bloom AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 521.10 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYF IELD V ILLAGE, OH I0, PER- TP,IN ING TO TRASH PICK-UP AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Section 521.10 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield.Village, Ohio, is hereby amended to read as follows: (New material appears like THIS and deleted material appears like this) 521.10 Curbside Garbage Deposit; Regulations (a) EXCEPT AS HEREIN OTHERWISE PROVIDED, no person shall place or deposit on the curb or treelawn any garbage, rubbish or other refuse intended for regular trash pick-up earlier than .6 :00 P.M. on the day bef ore such 'pick-up is scheduled. RESIDENTS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO PLACE TRASH BAGS CONTAINING GRASS CLIPPINGS OR OTHER YARD MAINTENANCE REFUSE ON THE CURB OR TREELAWN FOR PICK-UP AT ANY TIME ON THE DAY BEFORE SUCH PICK-UP IS SCHEDULED. (b) Whoever violates this Section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. Section 2. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have-been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compli- ance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the yard maintenance season has already begun. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirma- tive vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by
