ORDINANCE N0. 84-35 <br />Page -5- <br />operator so colliding with such <br />attach the information required <br />writing, to a conspicuous place <br />unattended motor vehicle. <br />motor vehicle shall securely <br />to be given in this section, in <br />in or on such unoccupied or <br />379.12 STOPPING AFTER ACCIDENT UPON PROPERTY OTHER THAN STREETS. <br />In case of accident or collision resulting in the injury or <br />damage to persons or property upon any public or private property <br />other than public streets or highways due to the driving or <br />operation thereon of any motorized bicycle, the person so driving <br />or operating such motorized bicycle, having knowledge of such <br />accident or collision, shall stop, and upon request of the person <br />injured or damaged or any other person, shall give such person's <br />name and adddress, and if he is not the owner, the name and <br />address of the owner of such motorized bicycle, together with the <br />registered number of such motorized bicycle, and if, available <br />exhibit his operator's or motorized bicycle operator's license. <br />If the owner or person in charge of such damaged property is not <br />furnished such information the driver of the motorized bicycle <br />involved in the accident or collision .shall, within twenty-four <br />hours of such accident or collision, forward to the Police <br />Division the same information required to be given to the owner <br />or person in control of such damaged property and give the date, <br />time and location of accident or collision. If such accident or <br />collision is with an unocccupied or unattended motor vehicle the <br />operator so colliding with such motor vehicle shall securely <br />attach the inf ormation required to be given in this section, in <br />writing to a conspicuous place in or on such unoccupied or <br />unattended motor vehicle. <br />379.13 FLEEING PROHIBITED. <br />No person shall operate a motorized bicycle so as to <br />willfully elude or flee a police officer after receiving a <br />visible or audible signal from a police officer to bring his <br />motorized bicycle to a stop. <br />379.14 IMPOUNDING. <br />(a) Whenever any person operates a motorized bicycle in <br />violation of any section of this Traffic Code, the motorized <br />bicycle may be seized by any police officer and the Chief of <br />Police shall have the authority to impound any motorized bicycle. <br />An impounded motorized bicycle shall not be released to a minor <br />under the age of eighteen years. <br />
