The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to withhold all future premium payments due on the policy of disability insurance with the Prudential Insurance Co. for the express purpose of cancelling the coverage provided for in said policy. Section 3. Al1 prior ordinances inconsiste_nt with this ordinance in whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this ordinance. Section 4. All other provisions of Ordinance No. 81-21 shall remain in full force and effect until otherwise amended or repealed. Section 5. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 6, This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reasons stated in the preamble hereto. It shall therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law.
