ORDINANCE N0. 83- 24 <br />INTRODUCED BYc Mayor Beebe & Council as a Whole <br />?. <br />. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROV IDING TO EACH <br />FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE A SUPPLEMENTAL CHECK OF TWO <br />AND ONE-HALF PERCENT (2.50) OF THE <br />BP,SE PAY FOR EP,CH SUCH FULL-TIME <br />EMPLOYEE AS ESTABLISHED IN <br />ORDINANCE N0. 82-5, AUTHORIZ ING THE <br />DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO INCLUDE SUCH <br />CHECK WITH THE REGULAR PAYROLL <br />DISTRIBUTION ON DECEMBER 22, 1983 <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village have <br />determined that it is not economically feasible at present to provide <br />the employees of the municipality a raise in pay; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have further determined that <br />the employees have continued to work diligently on behalf of the <br />Village despite the lack of increase in compensation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have further determined that <br />the full-time employees should be provided some additional compensa- <br />tion at this time in order to establish the good faith intentions of <br />the Mayor and Council and additionally to recognize the patience and <br />continued best efforts of the full-time employees during these <br />difficult times; now, therefore, <br />BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Each full-time employee of Mayfield Village <br />shall be paid a supplemental check consisting of two and one-half <br />percent (2.50) of the base pay for each such full-time employee as <br />established in Ordinance No. 82-5. <br />Section 2 The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to include the payment provided in Section 1 hereinabove <br />to each tull-time employee with the regular payroll distribution of <br />December 22, 1983. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />0?
