M.V. ORDINANCE NO. 82- 2 Page -2- The President of Council shall have the authority to coordinate all committees and legislation introduced before Council. The minutes and report of any committee shall be submitted to the President of Council and Council as a Whole at its next regular meeting unless further time is given at the time of reference. The minutes shall be presented in writing to the President of Council to be issued to Council and the administration but the report need not be in writing unless so requested by the President or a majority of Council. (b) Special Task Committees - All special task committees sha11 be created and appointed by the President of Council. No special task committee, once created, shall be dissolved unless by a majority vote of the members of Council. Section 2e Existing Section 121v06 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took plaee in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. Section 4, This Ordinance is hereby, declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety, and welfare of the residerits of Mayfield Village, Ohio, in that the procedures amended herein will allow for the orderly conduction of business of the legislative body of the municipality. It sha11 therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5).member?s elected to Council and aPproval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowecl by law.
