M.V. ORDINANCE NO. 82- 2 <br />Page -2- <br />The President of Council shall have the authority <br />to coordinate all committees and legislation introduced <br />before Council. <br />The minutes and report of any committee shall be <br />submitted to the President of Council and Council as a <br />Whole at its next regular meeting unless further time is <br />given at the time of reference. The minutes shall be <br />presented in writing to the President of Council to be <br />issued to Council and the administration but the report <br />need not be in writing unless so requested by the President <br />or a majority of Council. <br />(b) Special Task Committees - All special task committees <br />sha11 be created and appointed by the President of Council. <br />No special task committee, once created, shall be dissolved <br />unless by a majority vote of the members of Council. <br />Section 2e Existing Section 121v06 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took plaee in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements, including the requirements <br />of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4, This Ordinance is hereby, declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, <br />safety, and welfare of the residerits of Mayfield Village, Ohio, in <br />that the procedures amended herein will allow for the orderly conduction <br />of business of the legislative body of the municipality. It sha11 <br />therefore take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote <br />of not less than five (5).member?s elected to Council and aPproval by <br />the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowecl by law. <br />PASSED: <br />APPROVEDs <br />APPROVED Date <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />r Eloise Maynard, Clerk of Council
