The Finance <br />Director is further authorized to make such <br />distributions during January and July of each year <br />for the prior six month period. <br />(f) Whenever a uniform item is damaged or <br />destroyed in the line of duty then that item shall <br />be replaced at the cost of the municipality subject <br />to the recommendation of the Chief_ of the Department. <br />Whenever a uniform item is lost or destroyed by one <br />of the aforementioned employees in a manner not <br />related to the per.formance of his clv.ty then that <br />item sha11 be replaced at the cost of the employee, <br />subject to tlie recommendation of the Chief of Police. <br />(g) Whenever different or additional uniform items <br />are required due to the promotion of a full-time member <br />of the Police or Fire Department the municipality shall <br />purchase those items for which receipted bills are <br />presented together with an approval for payment from <br />the Chief of the Department. <br />_ J (h) Each full-time member of the Service Department <br />shall be reimbursed for work clothing purchased in an <br />amount not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) <br />per year.. Tlie police officer under these circumstances <br />sha11 be paid the equiva.lent of two (2) hours additional <br />compensation compv.ted at the officer"s regular hourly <br />rate provided in Section 1e <br />(j) There.shall be no uniform allowance or maintenance <br />for part-time pol%ce dispatchers. <br />Section 2. A11 prior Ordinances inconsistent with this <br />Ordinance in whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary to <br />avoid conflict with this Ordinance.
