Page 6 <br />Ordinance No. 82- lg <br />Section 14. That the Director of Finance be and is hereby <br />authorized to draw warrants for payment of any of the foregoing <br />appropriations, upon receiving the proper certificates and vouchers <br />thereof, approved by the Council of the Village of Mayfield or <br />Officers authorized by law to approve the same or by Ordinance or <br />Resolution of Council to make expenditures, provided that no warrant <br />be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed <br />by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />Section 15. That it is found and determined that all formal <br />actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council; and <br />that all deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees <br />that resulted in such formal action, were in meetings open to the <br />public, in compliance.with all legal requirements including Section <br />121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 16. That the Clerk of Council be and is hereby instructed <br />to submit said Appropriation Ordinance to the County Auditor of <br />Cuyahoga County on or before the 31st of March, 1982 as required by <br />Section 705.18 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 17. That this Ordinance is hereby declared.to be an <br />emergency measure, immediately necessary for the preservation of the <br />public peace, health, safety and welfare of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Ohio, for the reason that this Ordinance effects the day to day business <br />of the Municipality, and for the further reason that in order to certify <br />the amounts set aside and appropriate for expenditure, this Ordinance <br />must take effect retroactively to January l, 1982. <br />Wherefore, this Ordinance be in force and ef jt immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. ?' <br />a <br />ichae W.
