ORDINANCE N0. 32- 24 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a 14hole <br />16 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCI-iASE OF A <br />POLICE CRUISER FOR THE SUM QF NINE THOUSAND <br />TI3REE HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS ($9,320.00) AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGErICY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Deacon"s Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc. <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the sale <br />to the municipality of a police cruiser. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Finance Director are hereby <br />authorize , empowered and directed to execute a purchase agreement <br />with Deacon's Chrysler-Plymouth, Inc. for the purchase of the <br />af orementioned vehicle in accordance with the bid received in an <br />amount not to exceed Nine Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars <br />($9,320.00). <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting <br />in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the p-iiblic, <br />in compliance with all statutory req'uirements, including the require- <br />ments of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be.an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, in that the purchase authorized herein is essential to main- <br />taining effective 1aw enforcement services.
