ORDINANCE NO. 82- 37 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Wh.ole <br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO <br />SEIBERT-KECK INSURANCE AGENCY IN THE <br />ANTOUNT OF TWO TFiOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND <br />THIRTY DOLLARS ($2,230.00) PER ANNUM <br />AS LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR UMBRELLA <br />LIABILITY INSURATICE COVERAGE, REJECTING <br />ALL OTHER BIDS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VTLLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. Tn accordance with bids received pursuant <br />to advertisement as required by law, Seibert-Keck Insurance <br />Agency is hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidder for <br />umbrella liability insurance coverage for the municipality. <br />Section 2. The Mayor and Finance Director are hereby <br />authorize , empowered and directed to enter into a contract <br />with Seibert-Keck Tnsurance Agericy for the insurance coverage <br />mentioned hereinabove in accordance with the bid received in an <br />amount not to exceed Two Thousand Two Hundred and Thirty Dollars <br />($2,230.00) per annume Said contract shall be in a form approved <br />by the Director of Law. <br />Section 3. All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />Section 4. Tliat the Council finds and determines that <br />all formal actions of this Cauncil relating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance have tieeri takeri at open: meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Couneil and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action,, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with al1 statutory requirements, including <br />the requirements of Section 121e22 of the Oh'io Revised Code. <br />Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immedi,ately necessary for the preservation of <br />the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village <br />in that the contract awarded herein wi.11 protect Village assets <br />from damage claims.
