ORDINANCE N0. 82- 38 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE AWARDING A CONTRACT TO <br />PUCEL ENTERPRISES, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />TEN THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS AND <br />SEVENTY FIVE CENTS ($10,110.75) AS LOWEST <br />AND BEST BTDDER FOR THE RESTRIPING OF <br />DESIGNATED STREETS IN THE MUNICIPALITY, <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BTDS AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. In accordance with bids received pursuant <br />to advertisement as required by law, Pucel Enterprises, Inc. <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the <br />restriping of designated streets in the municipality. <br />Section 2. The Mayor.and Finance Director are hereby <br />authorized, empowered and directed to execute a contract with <br />Puce1 Enterprises, Inc. for the restriping of designated streets <br />within the municipality in.accordance with the bid received in <br />an amount not to exceed Teri Thousand One Hundred Ten Dollars <br />Seventy Five Cents ($10,110.75). Said contract shall be in a <br />form approved by the Director of Law. <br />Section 3. <br />All other bids rece'ived are hereby rejected. <br />Section 4. That the Council finds and determines that <br />all formal actions of this Council reTating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance have been takeri at operi meetings of this Council; <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements, including <br />the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village <br />in that the contract awarded here'in will erihance the safety of <br />both pedestrian and vehicular traffic within the municipality. <br />It shall therefore take effect immediately upon the affirmative <br />vote of at least five (5) members elected to Council and approval <br />by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading <br />May 17, 1982 <br />Suspension <br />?Michae •Spel, n, Counci Presi ent <br />Third Reading: Suspension <br />PASSED: Mav 17. 1982
