RESOLUTION N0. 82- 40 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THOMAS KEPTNER. <br />1?1 <br />WHEREAS, THOMAS KEPTNER has dutifully served as the <br />Finance Director of Mayfield Village since January, 1981; and <br />WHEREAS, THOMAS KEPTNER has submitted his resignation <br />as the Finance Director, said resignation to be effective June <br />15, 1982; and <br />WHEREAS, THOMAS KEPTNER has faithfully and diligently <br />served the residents of M'ayfield Village as FinaMCe Director; and <br />WHEREAS, THOMAS KEPTNER should not be allowed to leave the <br />employ of Mayfield Village without an expression of the appreciation <br />which he rightfully deserves; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY Z'HE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, for themselves and on behalf of the entire administration, <br />employees and residents of the municipality, express their deep <br />appreciation and thanks to THOMAS KEPTNER for his faithful and <br />devoted service to Mayfield V.illage. <br />Section 2. The Clerk is hereb'y authorized, empowered <br />and directed to prepare duplicate ori?inal copies of this <br />Resolution. One such original copy shall be presented to THOMAS <br />KEPTNER as a small token of the esteem in which he is held by the <br />residents, officials and em:ployees of Mayfield Village. The <br />other duplicate orig'inal shall be placed in the permanent records <br />of the municipality as a lasting tribute to THOMAS KEPTIVER. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council r.elating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been takeri at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting <br />in such formal action, took plac.e in_meetings operi to the public, <br />in compliance with `a1;1 statutory requirenients, including the <br />requirements of Secti?on 121.a,22 of the Ohio Revised Codea <br />Secti.on 4.
