ORDINANCE N0. 82-42 (As Amended) <br />INTRODUCED BY: Council President Michael Spellman <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRTATING THE SUM OF THREE <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,000.00) FROM THE GENERAL <br />FUND AS FUNDING FOR THE COTMISSION ON AGING <br />AND DIRECTTNG SAID FUNDS BE DEPOSITED IN THE <br />COMMISSION ON AGING ACCOUNT WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND. <br />WHEREAS, Council has previously enacted Ordinance No. 52-30 <br />creating the Commission on Aging and providing that the Council <br />shall appropriate from time to time such funds as are necessary to <br />operate the Commission; and, <br />[nTHEREAS, Council has previously eriacted Resolution No. 82-45 <br />which, in part, establishes a permanerit account within the General <br />Fund for the Commission on Aging; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COLTNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section l. There is hereby appropriated from the General <br />Fund the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000.00) for the <br />Commission on Aging which monies sha11 be spen:t only for those <br />purposes authorized by the Charter and Ordinances of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, and the laws of the State of Oh'io. <br />Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and <br />directed to eposit the funds appropriated herein in the Commission <br />on Aging account within the General Fund. <br />Section 3. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of th'is Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting <br />in such formal action, took place in meetings operi to the public, <br />in compliance with a11 statutory requiremerits, including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Oh'io Revised Code. <br />Section 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the health, safety and welfare of the residerits of MayfieTd Village <br />in that it proVides funding for a municipal commission.
