The amendment herein pertaining to the compensation <br />of the Finance Clerk shall be retroactive to July l, 1982 and <br />the amendment here'in pertaining to the compensation of the Clerk <br />of Council shall be retroactive to January l, 1982. <br />Section 3. All prior Ordinances inconsistent with this. <br />Ordinance i'n whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary <br />to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. <br />Section 4. That the Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that del'iberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting <br />in such formal action; took plaee in meetings open to the public,;. <br />in compliance with'all statutory requirements, including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 5. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure imme iately necessary foz the preservation of the health, <br />safety and welfare:o.f the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for <br />the reason that it provides reasonable compensation for the services <br />rendered by employees of the municipality.
